One year today my friend Charles (Shambu) left his body to the earth. Having known this beautiful man I can only imagine his current state of consciousness. Charles was not only an excellent acupuncturist, but a true healer, there are many of the former but few of the latter. To have both in one person is truly a blessing. He was a healer of the highest order, with an awesome ability to sense the source of life, in a heartbeat. “May all beings be happy”

Thank you Shambu. your friend Ryan-

An 11 hour flight to Maui in Spring of 2011 encouraged my sciatica ~ I knew my trip would be dispirited unless “magic” happened. I found Charles. I had not ever had accupunture done, and his warm presence and very handsome looks put me in la-la land without even applying the first needle. I told him that my schedule was limited and he went to work. He said “I will see what I can do”. The sciatic that I had for over a year, disappeared. I had been using many other modalities for over a year to no avail. To say I was enchanted is an understatement. I kept his number and called recently to find he had passed the same year I was there. If I had only known…I would have kissed him. What a beautiful soul. A true healer. I am so grateful the powers-that-be allowed me to cross his path.
