May perpetual light shine upon you, Giggle Tea. Thank you for your fun-filled wisdom.
I had the awesome fortune of finding ‘ReeRee’ in the Richmond Virginia Roundhouse Peace Dances back around 1997. We had just started homeschooling Tatiana. Retha had been a homeschool mom herself and we shared many loud laughs of how clumsy a task it was. Such a generous wild woman, she would show up at our house in Charlottesville and bring us amazing treats, like beautiful cakes to celebrate 1/2 birthdays or just about any reason to spoil Tat and Sonia, thus giving me a much welcomed break. At one point, when her family outgrew the homeschooling materials, she gifted us with a wonderful collection of books and games.
Today, my heart is stretched into the great beyond, imaging her big laughter at those Pearly Gates. Damn, another sister gone to the eternal Dance Party above. Such a perky representation of the Divine. I’m gonna miss her.
