Dear Brother Jelaluddin
I remember you well from 42 years ago. You were so tall, and strong, but also so quiet, and gentle. Your presence was soothing, and clean. Your hug was comforting. You were much loved by Murshid Sam, and by all of us in the community. May your gentle spirit shine on forever. Ya Hayoo Ya Qayyum!
My Dear Friend,
We were first carpententry mates, later rowboat partners and finally, just friends. Through the 30+ years of that friendship we had so many adventures but what I mainly remember was your patience, gentle kindess and loving nature. I learned much from you and will alway be grateful for your presence in my life.
