2 Memories for “Daniel Jami Parsons”

I received news of Dan’s passing only recently. I had helped him move from Fairfax to Lakeville and then a bit later into Petaluma. He was a dear friend and confidant. Probably the smartest person I have ever known — yet he took me under his wing teaching me all sorts of things that I would have never known. Just way too early for him to depart this earth. I’ll miss him. One of the finest and most honorable persons I’ve ever met.

I met Daniel / Jami when we were at Khanqah S.A.M. in San Francisco. He was a gifted artist who designed incredible posters for concerts for the Sufi Choir, Hamza El Din, the Healing Prayer of Inayat, and other things. He had a great sense of humor, and the women were crazy about him. Vasheest used to calll him Errol Flynn. Blessings upon you, brother.
