Ashok, as I remember his name, was a man of great heart. I was a guest in his home in New Mexico on my way to Lama way back in the late 1970s. I will never forget the breakfast he and his lady took me for at a great roadhouse sort of establishment. There was much heart and much laughter!
I lived in a house of Sufi folk on Bret Harte Road in San Rafael in 1972. Ashoka lived there. I remember his big smile and belly laugh. He brought a lot to that community.
