Early this morning Mary Inayat Khan, just a week after her 91st birthday, followed Pir Vilayat into the light. Mary outlived her husband by 14 years, she often mentioned how she woke up every morning welcoming the new day with gratitude and thankfulness for being alive and for the life she had. One week before her passing she told me that she was ready to accept whatever comes next.
Mary will be buried in England alongside her sisters. On Sunday September 30th at 11:30am we will have a service and celebration honoring Mary here in Suresnes.
