Ratan Witteveen

murshidaratan1-2

Murshida Ratan Witteveen was a devoted student of Inayat Khan’s children’s program, she became a leading representative of the Unity of Religious Ideals, (Moin-ul-Maham) in the Sufi Movement International and held this respectful post for many decades. She guided her mureeds in music and inner esoteric practices. Her subtle approach to all Holy Murshid’s teachings are legendary.

One Memory for “Ratan Witteveen”

I met Murshida Ratan at a joint jamiat meeting of the Sufi Ruhaniat and the Sufi Movement in Kansas City in the 1990s. I was enchanted by her clarity and gentle spirit. It was an extraordinary meeting of the two orders and it was such a privilege to meet this extraordinary embodiment of the teachings, Murshida Ratan.
