Ghani was a murid of mine for many years. Almost all of our conversation was at Inland camp, but I felt his presence throughout the year. He was always ready to be of service, even through great personal pain both physical and psychological. He did much in his church and created honest and deep writing on difficult subjects. I was so happy that in the last period of his life he found love again. He was a person I was very glad was in the world. I admired his cheer and perseverance in the presence of so much pain.
