Du warst für uns alle eine treue Freundin und Begleiterin im Schweizer Tanz-Netzwerk und auf dem Sufi-Ruhaniat-Pfad.
Beruflich ausgebildet als Lehrerin und spätere Heilpädagogin, stelltest Du Dein Leben seit Anfang der 1990-ziger Jahre auch in den Dienst der Tänze des Universellen Friedens.
Als Mitbegründerin des Netzwerkes (NdL) in der Schweiz engagiertest Du Dich bis zu Deinem letzten Atemzug voller Verantwortung, Begeisterung und Authentizität als Tanzleiterin, Mentorin und Team-Mitglied in unserem und auch dem weltweiten Netzwerk. Die besonders lebensfrohen «Tanz-Kreativ-Tage» für Kinder und Erwachsene in der Schweiz hast Du seinerzeit initiiert und hauptverantwortlich sehr liebevoll organisiert und mitgeleitet.
Du warst über viele Jahre Präsidentin und Vertreterin unseres Vereins, und botest mit Deiner geistig sehr klaren Präsenz und Deiner Hilfsbereitschaft anderen Team-Mitgliedern in deren Ressorts überall Unterstützung an.
Über den von Dir empfangenen wunderschönen Tanz «Dem Einen entgegen» werden wir Deiner immer wieder gedenken und Dir nahe sein.
In Deiner einfachen, natürlichen und ehrlichen Art – eingebettet in einem grossen Herzen – hast Du auf stillen und unspektakulären Wegen Deinen Dienst am Leben geleistet und auf diese, Deine Weise, unser aller Herzen berührt.
In grosser Achtung, Liebe und Dankbarkeit für Dein Dasein, für das Miteinander gehen dürfen eines Abschnittes unseres Lebensweges,
und für das gemeinsame Teilen werden wir Dich Azima für immer in unseren Herzen bewahren

Our dear dance-friend and Sufi sister Azima Regina Gerber-Scherer completed her life’s journey on Easter Saturday, 3 April 2021, freed from her difficult illness to return to her spiritual home.
We offer our deepest sympathies to her dear husband Felix, her three daughters
Esther, Ruth, Miriam and all her wider family.
Dear Azima
You were for all of us a true friend and companion in the Swiss dance network and on the Sufi Ruhaniat path.
Professionally qualified as a teacher and later as a special needs teacher, you dedicated your life as well to the dances of universal peace from the start of the 1990’s.
As a co-founder of the German-speaking Dance Network in Switzerland you were committed right up to your last breath as a dance leader, mentor and team-member, radiating responsibility, enthusiasm and authenticity, both in our own network and in the worldwide one.
You initiated and were the driving force behind the really lively ‘Dance-Creative-Days’ for children and adults in Switzerland, combining your love and your organisational skills.
You were for many years President and representative of our organisation, and offered your practical help and support, and your focused presence to all members of the team.
We will always remember you and feel close to you through the beautiful dance ‘Toward the One’ that came through you.
In your natural, simple and honest way, grounded in an open heart, you achieved your service in life in quiet and unspectacular ways, and touched all our hearts.
With great respect, love and gratitude
for your presence, for the opportunity to share a stage of our lives with you
and for sharing together
we will hold you always in our hearts, dear Azima.
Your life has left deep and fruitful traces, and we miss you greatly.
