2 Memories for “Noel Hanuman Hale”

Murshida Vera subtly spent many years visiting various mureeds all over the country, at their invitation. She was actually (I realized in retrospect) looking for a home where she could finally transition.
At last she decided to move to Potter Valley where Noel & Carol Hale had built an apartment in their home. If memory serves, there was a huge heart & wings painted on the floor in one of the rooms. Noel & Carol cared for her for years with just the right mix of hands on & hands off, allowing Murshida’s wisdom and intensely independent spirit all the space they demanded. It was a wonderful place for Murshida Vera to peacefully spend her last years and to finally transition.
I feel eternal gratitude to Noel and Carol for their gentle, aware, compassionate kindness and care of my beloved teacher at the end of her life. May Noel’s dear soul rest in divine peace!
